This old desk is neat, has 26 spaces to store bills, letters, account info, was told it came out of old railway station, around Pinebluff Ar.Upper section folds up to reveal 8 spaces, or pigeonholes, lower section has writing desk area when door is opened, the surface is covered with oilcloth, appears original, lower section has 12 small holes, + 6 larger. Top is flat, this unit could be hung on wall or set on top of desk , cabinet or table , there are key holes with the locks on upper + lower sections, a hook was added to keep the lower from falling open. The veneer on the door has a few blisters that are stabil, they could be glued or pressed down if one desired. The dimensions are 34" wide 29" tall + 9" deep.
