This is an original old whiskey jug with J.J. O'Connor, Elmira, N.Y. stenciled on the front (there is some interesting history about J.J. O'Connor on the internet about his wholesale liquor business being burned down in March of 1904 when someone started a fire at a nearby theater). Jug is about 13 1/2" tall and 9" in diameter, this one weighs about 10 lbs. There is a crack on the back with a couple of smaller fractures running out, a chip on the lip and the bottom has some surface cracks (see pics).
