Here is a Spanish artillery sword, steel blade with "Artilleria Fabrica De Toledo 1895" marking on ricasso. Has a nice, uncleaned patina, 75% leather remaining on handle with all nickle silver wire. Overall length is 40" with the blade measuring 33 1/2". Has some chipping, possibly battle damage on forward edge of blade. Has original scabbard with a nice dark patina, single band that has one large and a smaller ring side by side. Traces of black paint around top and throat, missing small screw that holds throat in place, scabbard below band has heavy patina around the middle and getting smoother towards the bottom.
